The video explains the difference between Winter cool and Summer cool, Spring warm and Autumn warm. In it, I also go deeper into the connection between the True Seasons and the neutral Seasons next to them. I also compare and contrast the eight neutral Seasons, and explain why you shouldn't mix them.
The colour fans and palettes are shown with kind permission from True Colour International.
Doesn't sciART colour analysis consider hair and eye colour at all?
One of the major differences between sciART colour analysis and other colour analysis systems, is that we place almost no emphasis on the hair and eye colour during the draping.
We go so far as to cover your hair during the colour analysis, not because hair colour is insignificant, but just so that we can concentrate on analysing your skin. We know that your natural hair colour (before and after you go grey) and eye colour corresponds with your Season, it doesn't determine your Season.
Hair and eye colour will correspond with your Season, not determine it.
And voila! When we arrive at your Season, we discover that your hair and eye colour come into their brilliance when next to your Season's colours in clothing and makeup. Unless you have altered your natural hair colour chemically, of course, in which case we will discuss which direction you should go with hair colour in order to work with your Season, not against it.
If you have questions or comments about sciART colour analysis and the 12 Seasons, please write to me, or use the comment section below, I look forward to hearing from you!
Thank you so much, Jorunn! I had never thought to compare the neutral seasons side by side! This has really opened my eyes and will help me to (finally!) figure out my season hopefully once and for all! And I just wanted to add that I could listen to your voice all day! It has such a soft and gentle, friendly quality to it. You seem like such a kind person! Thank you again, and God bless!
Thank you so much for your kind words Jamie, and I’m so glad you found it helpful!
The Light Summer top at 12:14 appears also in Christine’s blog and she places it in Light Summer.
Dear Jorunn,
Thank you for the video. You made my day. I enjoed as always your wise selection of clothes in respective colors. I also like how you talk in a no-nonsense, easy to understand way. The sound is terrible, though.
Maybe you should color-analyze Liz Truss when in London. She desperately needs your help. ))))
Cheers from Uzbekistan
Hello Larisa,
I’m so glad you liked the video. I’m sorry the sound quality is bad, I’ll see what I can do to make the sound better on my next video.
And if Liz Truss did contact me to book a colour analysis, I would give her the best attention and service, same as I would any other client!
