Being Bright Winter

A short introduction to Bright Winter

With answers to the questions:

Do I have to wear all these colours at once?

Spoiler: You don't.

And do I adjust my Season when I grow older?

Spoiler: Not really, when it comes to colours in clothing. There is one other area where you might want to make some adjustments though.

And a million thanks and extra helpings of cod liver oil to True Color International for letting me show their colour fans in videos and blog posts.

  • Great video with examples! Thank you for making this content. I love how you use the value of simplicity throughout your blog. I really relate to that! I am not fashiony but love color and clothes. Your approach makes creating a a wardrobe I like and wear seem possible.

    • Oh Lisa, you just made my day! Thank you so much for sharing this. I’m thrilled that you feel that way and I’m so glad my content can help you along! And creating a wardrobe that you like and actually wear is entirely possible!

  • Jorunn, I always appreciate and learn from your Bright Winter tutorials. Thank you for doing them. I especially like your makeup tips in this video. For me lipstick is key as I’m drawn to mostly neutrals and love what a bright lip does for my eyes and skin. I agree the more translucent shades are most flattering. Thanks again for sharing your wisdom!

    • Hello Nicole, I’m so glad you found this useful! I agree with you, a bright cheery lipstick does wonders to balance an all neutral outfit! It doesn’t take much in the way of makeup to lift our mood, and lipstick is the easiest, most low maintenance makeup trick!

  • I really enjoyed this video (as I also have the others!) The BW info and visuals are so interesting and helpful in navigating the season. Thanks!
