Bright Spring can wallow in exuberantly happy colours and go wild with patterns. Warm, bright colours, animal prints, lots of energy and movement.
Neutrals: Bright Spring can tolerate a little bit of black in patterns, and also can wear black if it is away from the face. Bright Winter can get away with a pair of black shorts or black capri pants, but in this capsule wardrobe I made it a point to avoid black.
This is a little different from True Spring, who should ideally avoid black altogether. In my example of a True Spring capsule wardrobe there is no black whatsoever.
I have linked each item to the online store where I found it (the Norwegian Zalando shop). I am not an affiliate of Zalando, but this is a convenient online store for my Scandinavian clients, who always ask me where they can buy the items.
If you want more information about my 1-2-3-4 capsule wardrobe formula I explain it in some detail here.
I use the 1-2-3-4 formula as a start for any capsule wardrobe.
The basics
1 cardigan
2 bottoms (one skirt, one pair of pants)
They could be all neutrals, but I add a multicoloured skirt and a bright orange cardigan, because Bright Spring needs movement and pizzazz.
The 3 tops
For the tops, I picked a yellow long sleeve top, and two sleeveless/short sleeve tops (good for layering).
All these tops can be worn with both the bottoms, creating different looks.
Accessories
A happy necklace with movement because of the fun tassels, a scarf and some green sandals. I also added a super multicoloured bomberjacket from Desigual, a statement piece that is so fabulous that I couldn't resist adding it to the capsule wardrobe. It will be an instant game changer and mood lifter for any Bright Spring who wears it!
Enjoy a bright spring, all you lovely exuberant Bright Springs out there!
