Hello Jorunn. I have been enjoying your masterclass for Bright Winters. Much like a glass of good wine or chocolate, it is best consumed slowly and with relish. There is so much good and helpful information here that I can see myself returning to this content frequently. Thank you for your efforts to make us Bright Winters as informed, comfortable and successful with our season as possible.

Right now I find myself especially grateful for your lessons on chroma and pattern. I have read other descriptions about chroma and pattern. I never really grasped the concept of chroma before your lesson. Your language and your comparative photos really bring it to life. You describe Bright Winter’s best prints with such descriptive language, again supported by really excellent photos. Your words — clear borders, sharp edges — are so well chosen and, again, bring concepts to life.

I know I have more to learn and will enjoy every minute of the process. Thanks again for creating such a cohesive and accessible class.

Jorunn provides thought-provoking insights into why I have kept making mistakes as a Reluctant Bright Winter. The lesson on choosing spectacles was worth the cost of the course - if only I hadn’t spent a fortune on tortoiseshell varifocal glasses two months ago - but I won’t make that mistake again. My preference for natural fibres has meant finding intense bright colours harder but Jorunn’s guidance has shown how to work round that. There are so many helpful and informative pointers on so many different aspects of appearance. An excellent course, just wish I had had my colour analysis with Jorunn!

I settled in with a mug of tea and my knitting to deepen my sense of being a summer person while enjoying Jorunn’s company. This mini course provides excellent visual examples as well as clear descriptions that distinguish summer neutrals from those of other seasons. I found the section on gray particularly helpful to be able to recognize how colors mix into gray to create unique summer grays. Unfortunately, my attention was so focused on the beautiful images and soothing tone of Jorunn’s voice that I messed up the shaping of my knitting project and had to rip it back to fix it. I am looking forward to going through the course again, sans knitting, and am eager to apply my new knowledge.

I liked the course—it was beautifully designed, with wonderful examples. Such a lot of work to put it together!

I think the course would be most meaningful for people who are non-winter seasons. I am a bright winter and took your Bright Winter course, which was invaluable. I had learned things that were covered in this course, but I learned some new things that will be very helpful and the perfect red example was great. I have to brace myself, but that really is my best red.

I also read through the course work for the other seasons. (It is very cold here, with COVID everywhere, so the entire course was a welcome escape.) The other seasons were somewhat painful reading, since I could identify years of wrong color choices and why I never liked to wear some things.
